Grandson Time

After driving 5 hours I am finally holding my grandson.....Yeah! I will be finishing up some quilts I made for him in the next day or two and I will post pictures. I also will be posting pictures of things for sale that will be available soon. Lots of cute things.....be on the look out.

A Few things I have been working on

                                                         This is a quilt I made several years ago and now our youngest daughter will be going off to UT in the fall....GO VOLS ( lots of orange/white to come)

                                        This is on my design wall and I and thinking of using it in a quilt for my neighbor who is just so wonderful to us.

                                                        This is my first attempt at using my new machine....I LOVE IT. Made this for our neighbor just because.

Got a few things

I went to pick up my embroidery machine this evening YEAH !!!! I also got some Christmas fabric to start a pinwheel throw for Christmas. While I was at Joann's I got Camden some Charlie Brown Christmas fabric to make something not sure what just yet.

I was reading that Moda is coming out with a new line Amiella, I love the new colors and also my neighbor's granddaughter is named Amiella Mae I can't wait to make something out of that line. Well I hope to be getting better at this blogging thing, it is kinda fun.

It has been a long while.....

Ok, it has been a long time since I wrote anything. I have been busy with life. I got my sewing room almost put together and got a new to me embroidery machine I am excited about using it. I will be posting pictures of things I have made very soon. I plan on sewing all day tomorrow and then going to see cars2 with my hubby tomorrow night....a date yeah!!!!

I have finished three quilts for my grandson Camden I will post pictures tomorrow. Good night and my God bless you.

At the hospital awaiting the arrival of my grandson

I have been up all night waiting for my grandson to arrive. We have people sleeping all over the waiting room. I have been in the room with mommy and daddy all night, they have gotten some rest while others of us were wondering when Camden would arrive. It is 6:11 am eastern time and still waiting. I have some quilt pieces in my bag...to keep me busy.

Sewing Room Organized.....

Well after being at home for a week because of No School....(part of me was glad the other part now knows we have to make up 2 days of school) I finally got my sewing room organized. I found tons of fabric I forgot I had. Found a wonderful log cabin quilt already pieced all I need to do it quilt it. My husband told me to make sure and put a flannel back on it he freezes....and I have an internal heTer as he calls it. I plan on taking pictures tomorrow and posting them on here. I am very new to the blogging thing but I love reading other quilters blogs.....have a great evening off to bed and Yeah No School again tomorrow, it is a holiday.
